Various Phases Of Love Travel Featured By Voxxes On Zero Hour Album

JAKARTA - Voxxes revealed their journey throughout 2023. This year it became important because the band consisting of Zhafari (vocals), Tanjung (keyboards),ulan (guitar), Eky (drums), and RR (producers) released their first full album entitled Zero Hour.

The album contains 10 songs released on June 28, 2023. Then, the live session version of Zero Hour was released on December 6, 2023.

Conceptually, Zero Hour is divided into two sides by offering two different nuances, which are likened to day and night. The two sides are divided into the first five songs and the last five songs on the album.

This concept is aimed at providing an overview for listeners of how the love cycle and a relationship sometimes don't go easy and as planned.

Meanwhile, the first five songs were judged as describing the joy and sensations of pleasure, while the last five songs were wrapped with nuances full of emotion and electoralism.

This album is about cycle of love. It is like a relationship in which there is a phase of falling in love, having fun, a broken heart phase, there is a sad phase, and he is angry too. All phases that occur in a relationship," said zhafari in his statement, Thursday, January 25.

Carrying a big theme about the love cycle and relationships that generally have a phase layer with different nuances, this Zero Hour album wants to tell every phase in a relationship through every song in it.

His first album, Voxxes also tried to expand the color of the music offered using electronic sound ranging from synthesizers, drums, to keyboards to feature 80s of pop music nuances.

"In terms of production, this Zero Hour album can be said to have its own biggest challenge, where this is also my first time doing mixing for this type of song itself, which is also a new challenge for a personal cave," said RR.
