Jelusick Prepares To Meet Direct Metalhead In Indonesia

JAKARTA - In order to introduce his works to the Indonesian metalhead, Jelusick is preparing to visit the country in the near future.

In a virtual press conference with Indonesian media crews on Monday, January 16 evening, the Croatian band consisting of Dino Jelusick (vocals, keyboards), Ivan Keller (guitar), Luka Brodaric (bass), and Mario Lepoglavec (drums) expressed his hope to appear in Indonesia soon.

"Yes, as soon as possible," said Dino Jelusick regarding the plan to bring the band to appear in Indonesia.

"Hopefully as soon as possible," said Luka Brodaric.

So far, only Dino has visited and performed at a concert in Indonesia. He performed with Dewa 19 in August 2023. In fact, he performed an English version of the song Arjuna.

When asked how enthusiastic the personnel were to appear in Indonesia, Dino said that other personnel would never imagine how the journey and what they would face in Indonesia would be. Because Ivan, Luka and Mario have never visited Indonesia.

"I'm not sure how enthusiastic we are (to appear in Indonesia), because I'm sure they don't know what to expect. It takes a long journey to Indonesia, the journey lasts 17 hours. So, there are many things you can do while on the plane," said Dino Jelusick.

Asked further about Jeluseck's strategy to penetrate the Indonesian music market, Dino admitted that there was nothing special to do. They just want to try to introduce the music they carry to many people, and haven't thought about how it will turn out.

"I think we try and then we succeed or fail. We will only continue to do what we have done," said Dino Jelusick.

"Maybe we will penetrate first via radio, I don't know. We will only do what we have done, and what will happen later let it happen. That's the only way," he continued.

Regarding Jelusck's appearance in Indonesia, Tamah's personnel and friends as their representatives in Indonesia have not provided more detailed information. Further information will be reported in the near future.
