JAKARTA - rock legend Guns N 'Roses joins Spotify's "Billions Club" through their classic song, Paradise City.
The Billions Club, the first playlist to launch in 2020, includes all songs on Spotify that surpassed a billion streams on the platform.
After that achievement, Spotify awarded the Billions Club plaque to the artist.
Paradise City joins other songs including ABBA's Nothing Else Matters from Metallica, Aerosmith's Dream On, Whitney Houston's Eye Of The Tiger - to achieve that feat.
The milestone has reportedly been achieved by nearly 500 songs so far.
Paradise City is Guns N 'Roses' third song that surpassed a billion streams on Spotify, after Sweet Child O' Mine and Welcome To The Jungle.

The three songs can be found on the debut album Guns N 'Roses, Appetite For Destruction, which was certified by RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) in September 2008 for sales of more than 18 million copies in the US.
