Want To Focus On Acting, Selena Gomez Considers Stop Music

Selena Gomez revealed that she wanted to stop playing music. He said he prefers to focus on his acting career.

In the latest episode of the SmartLess podcast, Gomez, who recently starred in the famous Comedy series Only Murders In The Building, said she prefers to be "templed" in one field going forward.

I started having fun with music and then the tour became so fun. But I was working on my TV show at the same time [Wizards Of Wavely Place] and I thought it was so fun that I kept doing it but the older I was, the older I was... I wanted to find something to finish, " Gomez explained through Deadline.

He told hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes: "I feel like I have one more album, but I might choose acting."

In the episode, which airs on January 8 but is now available to Wonder+ subscribers, Gomez continues by saying he never intended to be a singer, but after singing the theme song for Wizards Of Waverly Place, Disney asked him if he wanted to record an album.

"I wanted to be an actress, I never really meant to be a full-time singer but it turns out that hobby has turned into something else," said Gomez.

"In my opinion, I'm not the best singer, but I know how to tell a story and I'm happy to be able to make a song."
