Padi Reborn Will Release A New Single With A Young Singer

JAKARTA - Padi Reborn has completed a tour of Indonesia to ten cities on the islands of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan and other islands. Several cities visited include Palembang, Solo, Samarinda, Ambon, and other cities.

Welcoming the new year, Padi Reborn said he had worked on a new single and would be released in 2024.

"We just finished the tour of 10 cities, because we want all to finish the campaign before the campaign. We toured in several cities. In 2024 we will release the latest singles. Yesterday we also finished making video clips in Semarang," said Piyu when met at Pondok Pinang, South Jakarta, Tuesday, December 12.

Different from the previous releases, the bands fronted by Fadly (vocals), Piyu (guitar), Rindra (bass), Ari (guitar) and Yoyo (drums) will collaborate with a singer.

"We are collaborating with young singers, but we can't tell them yet because of surprise," said Piyu.

Furthermore, Piyu said that the single that Padi Reborn will issue is a really new work.

"In 2019 we will release a single but the old song that we rearrange, but if this is really a new song," he said.

However, the collaboration carried out by Padi Reborn was not because they were not confident in appearing alone. Piyu said that this new single happened to be suitable to be performed with other singers.

"This is because of the need for a song. We can see that this song seems suitable if we use a fresher young person's voice," said Piyu.
