Billie Eilish On Her Interest In Women: Isn't It Clear?

JAKARTA - The 21-year-old pop star revealed to Variety last month that she was "completely attracted to [women]," then said: I have a deep relationship with women in my life, friends in my life, family in my life.

I am physically interested in them. But I am also very intimidated by them, their beauty, and presence.

Now, Eilish is commenting on her decision to be open about her sexuality. In a red carpet interview for the Variety Hitmakers show, an interviewer asked the musician if he intended to reveal it.

"I wouldn't do it, but I thought, wasn't it clear? I didn't realize people didn't know it," Eilish said.

Eilish, whose Barbie soundtrack What Was I Made For was awarded the Best Film Song of the Year award with her brother Finneas, further said she was not 'trusted' to open up about her sexuality.

"I don't really believe that," he explained.

"I just thought, why can't we just exist? I've been doing this for a long time, and I'm not talking about it. Ups. But... I saw the article and I thought, 'Oh! It looks like I opened it today!'

"This is interesting to me because I don't think people know it, so it would be great if they found out," continued the singer. But never mind, I'm nervous about it.

"I support the girls," the knot.

In the same Variety cover story, Eilish also opposes sexualizing her body throughout her career. The musician wore his trademark loose clothes as a teenager to avoid comments about his body, which he said only raises more speculation about his physique.

"I don't try to keep people from sexually abusing me, but I don't want other people to have access to my body, even visually," he said. I'm not strong enough and safe enough to show it. If I showed it at the time, I would be devastated if people said something.

He continued: 'I have big breasts. I've had big breasts since I was nine years old, and that's how it is. That's how I look. You wear something open, and everyone says, 'Oh, but you don't want anyone else to sexually harass you?'
