Chronology Of Greenlane Festival 2023 Organizers Using Event Money For Foya-Foya

The 2023 Greenlane Festival, which was supposed to be held in Laswi Heritage, Bandung on Sunday, October 5, was canceled.

Through the Greenlane Festival Instagram account, Bagus R Setiaji as Project Manager told the chronology of how he used investor money for his personal needs.

In March, Bagus received Rp1.5 billion from investors to hold the 2023 Greenlane Festival. From this money, around Rp400 million was used for the purpose of the event.

Then, Bagus borrowed some more money to finance the music festival.

First, I borrowed from one of the total 390 million people, with my car collateral," said Bagus R Setiaji.

"Secondly, 800 million with my house guaranteed," he continued.

However, Bagus admitted that he did not use the money he had with him properly. Instead, he uses money from investors for personal purposes.

"So, I acknowledge from the 1.5 M investment fund, used for my personal life, my spree life, and also all my debt payments," he said.

For what happened, Bagus stated that he was ready to bear all the consequences that had to be faced.

"The most important thing is, with my chat there, I take full responsibility for the legal consequences or debts I have," said Bagus.

Furthermore, Bagus admitted that he tried to keep the event going, but failed. Once again, he expressed readiness to bear the consequences of his actions.

"I have also tried to fulfill the total event today, but I can't do it optimally," said Bagus R Setiaji.

"From after the incident, my funds have finally come in to replace 620 million, from the past nine days, to this day. I have the intention to pay for everything, but all I can do so far is only up to 620 million. I am sure I am fully responsible for material and non-material losses, and I am ready to face the law or the debt payments that I have made," he concluded.
