Steven Wilson: Without Conditions Supports Israel And Their Right To Take Action

JAKARTA - The progressive music icon, Steven Wilson, condemned Hamas' attack on Israel, which killed more than 1,400 Israelis.

In response to the Palestinian militant group in Gaza that fired a series of deadly rockets and sent gunmen to Israeli territory, the Zionist nation launched an attack on what they called Hamas targets in Gaza.

Since then, Israel has ordered a total siege of the Gaza Strip, cutting off the supply of water, food and electricity for a population of 2 million people. The Israeli military, at least 199, is being held back in Gaza.

55-year-old Wilson via his Instagram on Sunday, October 15 shared messages.

"It's sad to see events in the Middle East happen over the past week," Wilson opened.

"I'm just a musician, but I know some of you care about what I think, so I want to make it clear that I unconditionally support Israel and their right to take action to protect and defend yourself against the cruel hate crimes committed by the Hamas terrorist organization against Israeli civilians," he continued.

Wilson meyakini, Israel tidak punya pilihan lain dan tidak ada hal 'tepat' yang harus dilakukan. Menurut dia, yang ada hanyalah apa yang harus dilakukan, betapa pun tidak menyenangkan dan sulitnya hal tersebut.

But I want to say that I also support all the innocent men, women, children and animals on both sides who are trapped in this unreasonable situation, killed, grieving, held hostage, or evicted from their homes, not because of their mistakes.
