JAKARTA - The Betawi Youth Forum (FPB) and the Indonesian Music Curation (KMI) held a student music festival between Jakarta High Schools entitled School Music Stars (BMS) which was asked to be one of them as a place to produce new talents of art and culture from DKI Jakarta.

In this event, the Betawi Youth Forum also collaborated with the DKI Jakarta Education and Culture Office as a form of commitment to synergy in the preservation of the arts and talents of DKI Jakarta students, as well as in supporting the efforts of the Education and Culture Office to empower students' potential while creating an innovative and creative learning environment.

BMS is a means of positive activity for students so that they can develop musical talent and build cooperation between students in school extracurricular activities. This event can also educate and improve skills professionally in the world of the music industry through a theoretical and practical workshop process, as well as being able to find new talents and make them professional musicians or singers.

The BMS event provides opportunities for students to explore creativity, expand their knowledge of music, and build confidence through appearing in public.

The series of BMS activities will be held for three months starting with the registration period for participants on 3-31 October 2023, the first coaching on 6-10 November 2023, and the preliminary on 13-17 November 2023. While the second coaching session on 23 November 2023 and the Grand Final will be held on 14 December 2023.

The flow of band competitions with a selection and gradual judging system from registration to grand finals. Students participate and receive guidance in workshops from professional music mentors so that they can get to know the music industry more deeply.

Participants who qualify for the grand final will get prizes in the form of recordings in the studio and a video clip.
