Andmesh Kamaleng Spreads Love & Prayers On The Latest Album

Andmesh Kamaleng has just released a new album titled Cinta & Prayer on September 22 last week. This is his second full album, which previously released Extraordinary Love in 2019.

Like the album title, existing songs tell stories of love stories called Andmesh as well as prayers.

"There are many love stories here that I have to do with all of our prayers. The point is love is prayer, and prayer is love too," said Andmesh at Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta last week.

"So, Cinta & Prayer outlines the songs tell about our daily lives. What really wants to be emphasized on this album is that we respect each other," he added.

Meanwhile, the inspiration for what is told in the songs is obtained from many different cases, one of which is a friend of Andmesh himself.

"There is a love story about many people, a story that Andmesh made from Andmesh's friends, there is something he does from his job, then he has a home band Andmesh," he said.

Other songs are also inspired by the story of Andmesh personally and the recent social circumstances.

"There are several songs that are based on personal stories, some are raised from friends who meet random people. After that there are neighbors too, there is a story of our current situation for mankind," said Andmesh.

"There is one song we have entitled Cinta & Prayer, this song hopefully can make us even more peaceful even though there are many differences in ethnicity, race, religion and others. When we hear the song, so our anthem loves each other," he added.

The album Cinta & Doa has 13 songs sung by Andmesh. Currently, these songs can be heard on various digital music platforms.
