Ipay Submits Evidence Of The 1998 Cinderella Song Demo To The Police

JAKARTA - Rival Achmad Labbaka alias Ipay visited the Polda Metro Jaya this afternoon, Friday, September 15.

Ipay, accompanied by his attorney, came to follow up on his report against Ian Kasela regarding the abuse of copyright for the Cinderella song.

To the media crew, Ipay said that he had brought evidence in the form of a demo song titled Fairy Tale Cinderella which was recorded in 1998.

"We brought evidence from the 1998 Cinderella master demo made by Fresh (Ipay band at that time)," said Ipay to the media crew.

Ipay also mentioned that there was proof of a letter in the form of a contract between the reported party and the label at that time, where the contract occurred without his consent.

"One of them is related to what was done by the party concerned with the 2005 label," said Ipay.

"With the contract, there is no legality or approval from me," he continued.

Ipay also talked about royalties he never got during Radja's song Cinderella.

"The loss so far I have not received royalties, as long as they use the song. It is without any legality and cooperation contract with me. They are directly labeled," concluded Ipay.
