JAKARTA - After Olivia Rodrigo called the Rage Against the Machine her influence in her latest album, guitarist Rage Tom Morello responded to the pop singer's comments in his latest post on X (formerly Twitter).
On September 13, Morello tweeted Rodrigo's photo along with a quote from a recent Rolling Stone interview.
"[Rage Against the Machine] is my current favorite band," reads the excerpt from the 20-year-old singer.

"I've been listening to so many Rage Against the Machines this year," Rodrigo told Rolling Stone.

Rodrigo also called the alternative rock band Babes in Toyland a big influence when recording GUTS.
GUTS, Rodrigo's second studio album, was released on September 8 and received praise from various circles.
