Pay Burman Tries To Mediate Conflict Between Posan Tobing And Kotak

JAKARTA - Pay Burman tries to mediate the heated problems faced by Posan Tobing with the band Kotak.

As is known, Pay is close to Posan and three other Kotak personnel. He co-wrote songs such as Masih Cinta, Kosong Toejoeh, Tinggalkan Saja, Pelan-Pelan Saja, and Selalu Cinta.

Pay sees that Posan's problem with Tantri, Chua and Cella has two different sides.

“There are several separate things, in my opinion. Between Posan and Kotak, it's personal," said Pay to media crew in Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta last week.

"But on the one hand, there are also creators who are now fighting for their rights in performing rights. That's a different thing," he continued.

For Pay, both parties have their own basis regarding the issues that are currently emerging. He also didn't see any problem with the arguments put forward.

“Yes, both of them have their own basis and views. Yes, I said yes, it's good, just let them both go on their own, so that it's clear," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding Posan Tobing's intention to report Kotak to the police, Pay did not want to comment too much. He saw that the problem was with Pos and Kotak.

"I don't know that (Posan reported Kotak to the police). I'm not having that problem. That's why I said earlier, between Posan and Kotak," said Pay Burman.
