Cherrypop Festival 2023 Day 1: Local Band Unjuk Capability, Local Residents Provide Parking Fields

YOGYAKARTA The 2023 Cherrypop Festival will be held starting Saturday, August 19 at Asram Edupark Sleman, Yogyakarta.

On the first day of the event, the enthusiasm of the audience was quite felt when attending a music festival, which was not only filled by local musicians but national-level musicians.

What is interesting about the Cherrypop Festival 2023 event is the involvement of local communities and the community around the venue. The reason is that residents around Asram Edupark Sleman are partnered with the committee to provide parking bags for visitor vehicles to security.

Visitors are required to walk on the streets in the middle of an beautiful village to the ticket exchange location. It is recommended to visitors to wear good footwear because the performance area is quite wide.

Not only the involvement of local residents, but Cherrypop Festival 2023 also collaborated with several local Yogyakarta bands, one of which was LOR, a pop-rock band formed in 2019 in Yogyakarta.

In addition, there is also Southern Beach Terror which is considered a pioneer of Indonesia's surf rock recovery, then The Bunbury. They all appeared to be released to celebrate the first day of the 2023 Cherrypop Festival. Meanwhile, the band alternative/indie rock Nood Kink will appear on the second day, Sunday, August 20.

The event was increasingly varied because the committee not only presented the music actors, but Putcast Live was also present, which was performed by a well-known podcaster Jogja as well as one of MOJOK's players, Puthut EA.

The audience was further spoiled by Kunto Aji's appearance at the 2023 Day 1 Cherrypop Festival. He performed several songs on the Cherry Stage stage.

Please note, in the 2023 Cherrypop Festival there are three stages, each named Cherry Stage, Nanaba Stage, and Yayapa Stage.

Each stage presents selected bands such as The Adams, Seek Six Sick, Nonaria, and many others. Visitors can enjoy the guest star on a predetermined schedule and stage.

In addition to various stages, the committee also provides free refills of mineral water, simply carrying their own tumblers from home. There are also food and drinks sold at several points.
