Sangar! Sepultura Will Hage The 2023 JogjaROCkarta Stage

JAKARTA - Rajawali Indonesia announced the fierce band from Brazil, Sepultura as one of the foreign performers in the 2023 Jogja ROKarta event.

Through social media, the organizers ensured that the thrash metal giant that was formed on Belo Horizonte would appear at the annual rock and metal party held at the Kridosono Stadium, Yogyakarta on September 30.

"BE READY, JON! SEPULTURA IS BACK!" accounts @jogjarockartafest and @rajawaliindonesia started their announcement.

"Since the first action in 1992 in Jakarta and Surabaya, then in several other cities. This time, the legend of Thrash Metal @sepultura will step foot at the Kridosono Jogja Stadium!"

Currently, Sepultura is fronted by Paulo Jr. (bass), Andreas Kisser (guitar), Derrick Green (vocals), and Eloy Casagrande (drums). This formation performed in Jakarta and Tenggarong in 2012.

In Jogja ROKarta later, Sepultura will complete the legendary Indonesian rock band Slank and BIP which have been announced previously.

The organizers also ensured that there would be other thrash metal legends who would be asked as the main performers of Jogja ROKarta. However, until now it is still kept secret even though the founder of Rajawali Indonesia.
