JAKARTA - Elaine Hartanto, a former member of JKT48, released a single titled Khayalan on various digital streaming services on March 18.

According to Elaine to VOI, this song is about love that is one-sided.

"This accident tells the story of a woman who likes one man. However, the man did not respond back to the woman's feelings," he said.

The process of composing this song was also assisted by Elaine's manager, Ega, who did not take long.

"Initially, I asked Elaine what this song would be like. Then, she gave several Japanese references. After that, we have already done it, it's more or less just days," said Ega.

Through this single, Elaine, who is relatively new as a soloist, feels the difference with when she was at JKT48.

"It's different for me at JKT48 and now as a soloist, it's the spotlight. It wasn't just me at that time, now it's different," said Elaine.

Therefore, Elaine said, she strives to improve her ability to make it even more optimal in this song.

"From this song, what I have prepared is to learn vocals. At the same time, learn how to message the audience when it is delivered live later," he explained.

Ega added that Elaine would re-launch her second single in August. In addition, the female singer who was born in Jakarta will also collaborate with one of the Indonesian girl bands, LYNX.

"For the upcoming singles, we will be released again in August. However, if it is closest, Elaine will collaborate with one of the local girl bands named LYNX. Now, for this one, their singles but Elaine's featuring will be released on April 29, "concluded Ega.
