JAKARTA - Liz Hadi released a religious single titled Takdir under the auspices of Cadaazz Pustaka Musik on March 24 today. Digital distribution of the single is done by Bisa Music.

"With Cadaazz Pustaka Musik, which I happened to have known Eko (the owner) for a long time, suddenly I called him to chat to ask about news, and somehow we ended up talking about my single. So everything just flowed (God's way)," said Liz Hadi in a written statement received by the editorial team.

Fransiscus Eko from Cadaazz Pustaka Musik added that he was a little surprised by Liz Hadi's invitation because he had not produced religious songs for a long time since 2019.

"Cadaazz Pustaka Musik has not released a religious single for a long time, the last one was the single from Hybrid band whose title was Kembali PadaNYA in Ramadan in 2017 and the religious single from a soloist named Willy entitled Tiap Malam Ku Hanya UntukMU in Ramadan 2019, that's why when suddenly Aunt Liz Hadi called me and said she wanted to release a religious single, I was immediately interested. Who knows, releasing a religious single this Ramadan and working with senior plus legend singers like Aunt Liz will benefit everyone," he said.

Liz Hadi said, this single was inspired by her life experience of losing loved ones.

"I have lost a lot of people I care about periodically one after another. From there I started to feel like life was unfair and other things were going on. In the end, I realized that we in this world are just hitchhiking, that's what the Javanese call it. In the end, we all have tickets to face Him. And all of that makes me more diligent to draw closer to Allah," said Liz Hadi.

"I prepared two religious songs, but I and the label agreed to release Takdir. Actually, from four years ago I wanted to release this song. However, I was constrained by life situations, again I lost my youngest son and this was really terrible. My son died in 2021 because of Covid and to this day I still feel an incredible loss, so this song's lyrics are my strength," continued the Surabaya-born singer.

Besides that, in this song, Liz Hadi involves her daughter and son-in-law who are one of the leading metal band personnel in the country.

"I didn't think much about wanting this and that, so it was simple by asking my daughter Levy Shandy for help to work on the music and it was re-mixed and mastered by Karisk, Levy's husband who happens to be a musician plus guitarist for the rock band DeadSquad. Thank God, finally, this song is finished too," she concluded.
