JAKARTA - Guitarist from Jakarta, Indonesia, Ponch Satrio released a new album with the metal band from Germany, Vision Of Choice.

Named Second Sight, the second album from the band which is also fronted by Lukas Remus (vocals) and Steve Brockmann (guitar, bass, keyboard, vocals) was present since February 17 yesterday via Fencesound Music / ZOUNDDR.

In this album, Vision Of Choice is assisted by a number of guest musicians, including Fabio Alessandrini (drums on tracks 2, 3, 5, 6), Ivica "Prognini" Strognostovi Nilai (drums on tracks 4, 7, 8, 10), Glenn Welman (drums on tracks 1 and 9), and Patrick von Goble (guitar solos on track 5).

Ponch Satrio, who played five songs on Mistress of the Gods' debut album, has been a full member of Vision Of Choice since July 2020.

According to an official statement received by the editor, American writer George Andrade (Airs - A Rock Opera, The Anabas, Seven Steps to the Green Door) again wrote all the lyrics for this album. Meanwhile, Indonesian artist Johny Prayogi was asked to be the author of the artwork for the album cover.

Produced and mastered by Brockmann, and mastered through Andy Horn's cold hands (Sebastian Bach, Rob Halford, Judas Priest), the album is available in CD and digital download formats.

Looking back a little bit. Vision Of Choice was formed in 2018. The band is influenced by classic metal genres such as Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Pretty Maids, Omen, and Malice.

The album Mistress of the Gods, which was released in early 2020, received good to excellent reviews from metalheads and successfully sold to 24 countries.

Vision Of Choice plays in a traditional melodic heavy metal universe with the influence of hard rock. The strong vocal bariton Remus (often compared to JDKimball and Kal Swan) is a complement.
