Duo Group, Derai Releases Single Relate To You: A Long Buried Love Story

JAKARTA - The duo group, Derai released a new song titled Relate To You. This English song is their second single under the Warner Music Indonesia label. Relate To You is a representation of Derai's version of Love Language - Word of Affirmations.

In writing the lyrics, said Ica Deriza, this song wants to convey the love that has been around for a long time. "It's been there, but just realized. Sometimes we just realize that someone we need is close to us," he said in a release, Friday, August 5.

This song is a pop genre with electro nuances, which lasts 02:54 minutes and sounds easy listening. The combination of the vocals of the two personnel in the song with romantic lyrics makes Relate To You a ballad song that is suitable for those who are traveling in a vehicle because of the combination of a light and chill beat.

Ramli Nurhappi or Rai, another member of Derai, explained that the work on 'Relate To You' was quite short. The writing to the recording process takes approximately 2 weeks. Ramli and Deriza as songwriters were produced by Ankadiov Subran and Kamga as Vocal Director in the process of writing to recording. And the mixing and mastering process involved Ivan Gojaya and Dimas Pradipta.

“The inspiration came from a disquiet that I personally wrote for Deriza. Initially, it was poured into a piece of the lyrics 'here i'm oh here i'm, i'm loving you i don't think you know' to become the perfect composition of the song, “Rai said.

The official visualizer single 'Relate To You' was released along with the release of the song and can be watched on Derai's youtube channel. The visualizer has a blue color dominance by showing the two personnel. The concept itself, Rai explained, shows two couples who are communicating over the phone as one of the representations of Love language - Word of Affirmations.
