KTM continues to provide interesting things for the Indian market, the latest strengthening the 160 Duke lineup by introducing a new variant that presents a full-color 5-inch TFT instrument panel on this streetfighter motorcycle.

Quoting from the Gaadiwaadi website, Friday, December 19, the new variant is priced at 33 million, and is positioned above the standard variant.

The newly added TFT screen is the same unit as seen on the latest KTM 390 Duke and has glued glass for better clarity and durability.

Along with the screen, KTM has introduced a revised switch cube with four-way menu control, which allows riders to navigate menus and access key functions directly from the handlebars.

According to the brand, the interface has been designed to be intuitive and ensure minimal distraction while driving. Later when paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth using the KTM My Ride app, the TFT screen supports navigation, incoming call alerts, and music control.

The call function is limited to accepting or rejecting incoming calls, as outgoing calls and contact searches are disabled while the motorcycle is moving for security reasons. Music playback is also supported when the rider pairs a Bluetooth helmet headset with the system.

Another additional function that is activated through the TFT interface is the Supermoto ABS mode. When activated, the ABS intervention on the rear wheel is deactivated allowing the motorcycle to be controlled in certain driving scenarios, and the front ABS remains active to maintain braking stability.

Mechanically, the KTM 160 Duke remains unchanged as it uses a 164.2 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 19 PS at 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 15.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm, and is combined with a six-speed transmission.
