Suzuki & Haojue Develops 350cc Scooter, Ready To Disrupt Forza And XMAX Markets

JAKARTA - Suzuki is reportedly developing a large scooter to fill the 350cc class, which was jointly created with its Chinese partner Haojue. Later, the model will be a strong challenger for Honda Forza 350 to Yamaha XMAX.

Quoting from the Greatbiker page, Monday, September 29, although Suzuki has Burgman 400 available in many countries, no major middle scooters are available on the Chinese market yet.

Recently, an internal presentation that mentions the model is named Haojue UHR350, which is believed to be the prototype of a new scooter from Suzuki to come. Very interesting to wait.

According to preliminary estimates, the Haojue UHR350 will probably be developed based on the Suzuki engine to control production costs and reduce the burden on research and development of new machines manually. If this project succeeds, the same platform could be extended to other models in the future.

In addition to UHR350, there are additional rumors that Haojue is developing a large-middle to models called GSX500 and TR500, which may be a long-term partnership with Suzuki to expand its market to the premium segment.

While currently no official images or technical specifications of UHR350 have been released, given the rebranding trend of the Haojue model previously into Suzuki, it is likely to see a Suzuki Burgman 350 with the S logo on fairing.

If all goes according to schedule, the new Burgman 350 can be officially launched in early 2026 and will be another competitor to pay attention to in the large scooter segment with strong performances, engine finesseness, and an expected price to be second to none in the market.
