Triumph Ready To Relive Special Edition Tiger 900 Alpine And Desert In 2026

JAKARTA British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph is rumored to be reviving two special editions of its flagship, namely Tiger 900 Alpine and Desert Editions, in 2026. This information was revealed from the patent documents registered at the Swiss Patent Office.

According to a report from SoyMotero, quoted from Visordown, Thursday, August 7, Triumph will bring back Tiger's special edition, which was last released in 2020. At that time, the model that received special treatment was Tiger 1200, but this time, the special edition will be applied to a smaller model, namely Tiger 900.

Although trademark documents do not provide technical details, you can revisit the previous specification of Tiger 1200 special editions as an illustration.

Tiger 900 Alpine and Desert EditionsEdisi Desert will most likely be aimed at more extreme off-road use, using the base of Tiger 900 Rally Pro. The model is expected to come with new colors and graphics that are distinctive, as well as additional hardware.

Meanwhile, the Alpine Edition will focus more on touring on the highway, so it will most likely use the Tiger 900 GT Pro base.

In 2020, Tiger 1200 Desert Edition came with the 'Sandstorm' color scheme and special graphics for 'Desert Edition'. This motorbike is also equipped with an Arrow titanium exhaust and a Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter as a standard feature. Since the current generation Tiger 900 Rally Pro already has a quickshifter as a standard, it is possible that this new Desert Edition will be equipped with other accessories as standard equipment, such as aluminum pannier.

Alpine Edition in 2020 has similar adaptations, with a quickshifter, exhaust, and 'Snowdonia White' color scheme.
