AHM Confirms Not Announced Prices From ICON E: And CUV E: In Indonesia

JAKARTA - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) has officially launched two latest electric motorcycles for the Indonesia ICON e: and CUV e: market.

Unfortunately, since its release for the Indonesian market, AHM has yet to announce the certainty of the prices of the two latest models and has only released the range. So, what is the reason this company has not launched its official price?

Responding to this, the Marketing Director of AHM Octavianus Dwi Putro, said that his party would immediately announce in detail the ICON e: and CUV e motorcycles: but it has not provided confirmation of the time.

"It will be announced soon, but currently it is still on an estimated price scale," said Octavianus when met by the media in Tangerang, Thursday, October 31.

He said there are several things that must be followed to launch the price, from price calculations to the licensing process. What's more, this motorbike is a local production.

"Actually, it's just a calculation, the licensing process and so on. Moreover, it is produced in Indonesia," added Octavianus.

Honda ICON e: is claimed to be present for consumers who are looking for flexibility in riding electric motorcycles by offering light bodies and thinness on the highway. This electric motorbike carries the concept of "Advance Compact" which is suitable for daily use.

Then, the CUV model e: comes for motorists to feel electric motorcycles that support productivity with high performance and cutting-edge technology. Carrying the concept of 'Premium-Futuristic', this electric motorcycle offers a proud driving experience with undeniably quality, as well as guaranteed security typical of Honda.

Honda ICON e: an electric motor measuring 1.8 kW that can provide a maximum speed of 55 km/h with a battery capable of providing a distance of 53 km in one charge.

Meanwhile, Honda CUV e: has a 6 kW-powered electric drive that provides a top speed of up to 83 km/h with a battery offering a distance of 80 km in a fully charged battery.

AHM sells ICON e: at a price of around Rp. 28 million to Rp. 32 million. Meanwhile, CUV e: worth Rp. 53 million to Rp. 57 million On The Road DKI Jakarta.
