Ahead Of The Honda Bikers Day Touring, Hundreds Of Bikers Participate In P3K Training With WMS

JAKARTA Hundreds of bikers from the Honda Jakarta Association (AHJ) and the Tangerang Honda Motor Association (AHMT) attended the First Aid Training on Accidents (P3K) held by the Honda Jakarta - Tangerang Motorcycle Dealer Main, PT Wahana Makmur Sejati (WMS). This training was held in preparation for the tour to the 2024 Honda Bikers Day (HBD) grand event in Magelang, Central Java.

The long journey to Magelang and through various challenging terrains made WMS see the importance of this training. Bikers must understand the first steps in dealing with emergency situations on the road, especially in the event of an accident.

With road conditions that cannot always be predicted, thorough preparation is the main key in following the route from Jakarta to Magelang. In addition to being prepared to face various challenges, drivers also need to understand the safety aspect of good driving so that the trip remains safe.

"The drivers must understand what to do if they face obstacles on the road, especially in the event of an accident. We provide P3K provisions to hundreds of these bikers as preparation steps," said the Head of Marketing Planning & Analyst of PT WMS Andra Friandana, through its official statement Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

In addition to first aid training, the Safety Riding Promotion (SRP) team of PT WMS also provides an in-depth understanding of the importance of driving safety. Several things that need to be obeyed by the bikers include obeying traffic signs and using complete safety equipment, such as gloves, jackets, helmets, shoes, and trousers.

Not only about driving techniques, but maintaining physical conditions is also very important. Given that hot weather and rain can be a challenge, bikers are advised to always be vigilant and rest immediately if they feel tired. Imposing yourself only to achieve the goal faster can be high risk and cause fatal accidents.

"Don't rush just because you want to get there quickly. Obey traffic signs, stay calm, and stay in a safe place if you feel tired, even if it's just to straighten your body," added Andra.

The Honda Bikers Day 2024 event will be held on October 26, 2024 at the Rindam IV Diponegoro field, Magelang, Central Java, and will be attended by more than 30,000 bikers from all over Indonesia, celebrating togetherness and the spirit of brotherhood.
