Alva Confirms Presenting A New Electric Motor At GIASS 2024, The Price Is IDR 20 Million

JAKARTA - The 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), which is scheduled to take place from July 18 to 28, many vehicle manufacturers have chosen to release the latest products. AIVA electric motorcycle manufacturers are one of them.

ALVA currently presents three electric motorcycle models in Indonesia, namely ALVA One, ALVA One XP, and ALVA Cervo.

"Later we will also launch several new variants (electric motorists) and there is also a new model at GIIAS," said ALVA Purbaja Chief Executive Officer Pantja during a media conference session in South Jakarta, Tuesday, quoted from ANTARA, June 25.

Purbaja added that the price of Alva's new electric motorcycle ranges from Rp. 20 million.

He argued that the launch of variants and models of new electric motor products was part of Alva's strategy to expand market reach.

"So far, we have played in the premium market, where we have become market leaders (market leaders) in the premium segment (premium segment)," he said.

"We define the premium segment (price) of Rp. 30 million and above, for One Rp. 30 million, for Cervo it's Rp. 40 million before subsidies," he added.

In addition to launching a new electric motor model, Alva plans to add electric motor battery charging stations at several points.

However, Purbaja has not yet mentioned the number or location of additional battery charging stations planned by the company.

He only said that currently the battery charging station is in the installation stage.

Purbaja explained that Alva wants to add 10 units of electric motorcycle battery charging stations to make it easier for product users to access charging facilities and support efforts to develop the electric motor ecosystem in Indonesia.

"The point is, we want more and more Alva motorbikes to pave in Indonesia, meaning that what we are doing we must also develop the ecosystem," he concluded.
