JAKARTA - Many think that if you have an injection motorbike, you no longer need to regularly heat the engine. It turns out that it is still important to do this before doing your daily routine, and it can be done within a maximum period of 5 minutes.

As revealed by PT Wahana Makmur Sejati (WMS) Training Analyst Wahyu Budhi. He said that heating the motor engine has its own benefits, including the circulation of oil.

However, he suggested that the position of the motorbike should not be accelerated or accelerated. In other words, do not play gas while heating the motor engine.

"Making machine oil circulated before the motorbike was used, but the position of the motorcycle engine was in a low condition or idle and was not rushed," he said, in his official statement, Tuesday, June 11.

Regarding the duration, he said that the ideal one to heat the injection motor engine was only a maximum of 5 minutes, aka not too long.

"If it is heated for too long, it will be useless because gasoline will be wasted," he added.

Previously, Budiman, Service Advisor for Yamaha Harapan Motor Beji, Depok, explained that the time needed was not long and it still needed to be done (managing the engine).

"The engine on the injection motor needs to be heated so that the tilt angle sensor (Lean Angle Sensor) can function properly, especially when the temperature reaches 80 degrees," he told VOI some time ago.

Budiman also recommended heating the engine at RPM 1500 or in a stationary condition, without pulling the gas.
