JAKARTA - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) officially launched the latest All New Honda BET with various improvements made, from design to new features.

"The approach we took was an analysis related to a more optimal profile. Regarding the engine, we tried to review it as a whole using a Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) analysis, resulting in engine weights dropping by 400 grams," he told the media crew, Monday, May 3.

He further revealed that the issuance of 400 grams also saw the quality, strangeness and durability that were indeed considered and most ideally touched this figure.

Meanwhile, for the HondaBEAT Street model, there is an adjustment in the suspension section and overall the order for no changes.

"That's because Street uses ring 12 and there is an adjustment to the suspension," he added.

Weight reduction also occurs in the kick arm or kick starter weighing 1 kg. However, only for the Deluxe Smart Key and BEAT Street types. Honda also replaces the rear handle bar which used the Rubber Steel material with Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene, so it loses 600 grams in weight.

Regarding the price, All New HondaBEAT type CBS is marketed at a price of Rp. 18,430,000, Type Deluxe Standard is marketed for Rp. 19,300,000, while the Type Deluxe Smart Key which is the highest variant in All New HondaBEAT comes at a price of Rp. 19,830,000.
