PG-1 Yamaha Officially Launches In The Philippines, When In Indonesia?

JAKARTA - Yamaha added its motor lineup to the Philippine market by launching PG-1, having previously been present for the Thai market to Vietnam.

Quoting from the Top Gear PH page, Monday, May 27, PG-1 comes with a very unique retro design. Like round front lights, separate seats, to attractive accents on the motor's body arch. In addition, it is also equipped with a finger rim and tires stand out as standard.

Speaking of convenience, this one's motor is equipped with a telescopic suspension on the front and a swinger on the back, and is equipped with a single hydraulic disc brake on the front and a thromol brakes on the back that provide peace for each user.

Regarding the heart of the runway, this one motorbike carries an air-cooled 114cc one cylinder engine which produces 8.88 hp of power at 7,000rpm and 9.5Nm at 5,500rpm. Of course, it is suitable for use in all terrain.

In more detail, Yamaha PG-1 also has a ground clearance of 190 mm and a seat height of 795 mm (31.29 inches). It weighs only 107 kg when it is wet and has a fuel tank of 5.1 liters.

In terms of price, PG-1 Yamaha stickers cost 96,400 pesos or around Rp26.6 million, cheaper than the Thai market which touched Rp28.8 million.

This one motorbike itself has not yet entered the Indonesian market, at the end of last year the Ass General Manager Marketing and Public Relations of PT YIMM revealed that a study was needed to present this one's motorbike in the country.

"Because in Indonesia it is still dominated by automaticity, it takes a study (PG-1 Yamaha) whether it is suitable or not to enter here (Indonesia)," he said at the launch of Xmax Tech Max some time ago.
