GasGas Will Present The Latest Enduro And SuperMoto Motors, Take Base From KTM 790 Duke

JAKARTA - GasGas, a motorcycle brand from Spain, is reportedly testing one of the newest adventurous-style motorcycle models for the European market using a base of KTM 790 Duke.

According to a BikeWale report, Tuesday, April 30, the motor is expected to carry the names ES 800 and SM 800. For ES 800 it will have a 19/17-inch rim configuration and SM 800 which is a supermoto that will carry 17-inch rims at both ends of its wheels.

In addition, both of them will use the Kaliper brakes that have been used by KTM, namely J.Juan. It is also estimated that this latest model will use a USD fork suspension in front and a monoshock on the back. Higher travel suspension will be presented in the enduro version.

For the enduro version, this motorcycle uses dual-sport tires. Meanwhile, the supermoto variant will have road tires. In addition, this motorbike also offers a qualified performance for adventured motorcycles.

By taking the basis of KTM 790 Duke, this latest motor from GasGas is built with a chromium-molybdenum chassis that protects the 799 cc parallel-twin engine, generating 103 dk of power and 87 Nm of torque combined with six acceleration transmissions.

It is estimated that the manufacturer will offer the same option as its twin, namely lower seating, making it easier for small drivers.

In addition, motorists will also be spoiled with various features such as a simple TFT screen located on the dashboard, which has adaptive lighting depending on the level of light around which can be felt.

KTM 790 Duke is currently on sale in several markets, including India worth 863,558 rupees or around Rp168 million.
