JAKARTA - Honda is committed to expanding the ranks of its motorcycles in Japan by presenting an update on the Grom model for the Japanese market. It is known, Honda Grom is a small motorbike or minimoto with a unique street fighter design and compactness from the Honda Thai manufacturer.

Reporting from Rideapart, Monday, February 19, this model update includes bodywork, graphics, and color. The appearance becomes cleaner and more modern than the previous version which offers a number of pattern variations.

The chair becomes flatter with more sportsmanish visuals. Meanwhile, the front is equipped with the same digital display as before and this bike gets a USB support to charge the user's cellphone.

Other features presented on this bike include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) at the front, helping optimize motorists in terms of braking.

Talking about performance, the engine has a capacity of 125cc, but even though it is small, Grom offers impressive performance with a power of up to 10 dk and a torque of about 10 Nm. Its performance is supported by five gigboks of acceleration. In fact, Grom has won the 2014 Motorcycle of the Year in the United States.

The latest version of Honda Grom is offered in two colors, namely Pearl Horizon White and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic. However, what about the price?

The Honda Grom model 2024 is priced at 390,500 yen, equivalent to Rp40.7 million, including a 10 percent tax borne by consumers. This motorbike is planned to be sold on March 14.
