MBP Launches SC150SR, Modern And Sporty Scooter

JAKARTA - The scooter market around the world is growing rapidly, encouraging manufacturers to launch new models, including Moto Bologna Passione (MBP) which has just introduced their latest entry-level scooter, the SC150SR with a sporty design.

The Hungarian motorcycle brand, which is now owned by the Chinese company, focuses on creating products to support the growth of motorcycle users in Europe. Its product range covers every level, from the small class of 125cc to the middle class with a capacity of 500cc.

Meanwhile, on the side of the body there are several sharp folds overall, similar to the Force 155 style and the Italjet brand.

Then, what are the specifications? This scooter will be equipped with a 149.6cc engine, one cylinder, liquid-cooled. The maximum resulting power reaches 15 hp at 8,500 rpm with a torque of 14.7 Nm at 7,000 rpm, which is channeled through an automatic transmission system. This force will be channeled to the rear wheels, adopting a powertrain similar to the parallel model SC150RE which is present in the form of a retro scooter.

One of the interesting things about SC150SR is the suspension system. Although the front suspension is a standard Telescopic type, the back is equipped with a large Mono-Shock shockbreaker that also functions as a Uni-Link with accent arms. The scooter is also equipped with the same 13-inch ABS Dual Channel and rim system on the front and rear.

This scooter is also equipped with various modern features, such as a full digital screen, USB charging port, smart key system, and a refueling port on the front. In addition, this scooter has a large storage compartment under the seat with a capacity of 28 liters.

Although it has been officially launched, prices have not been announced. Many speculations say that the scooter will be ready for sale in April. This will be another model to be offered alongside SC150RE 125 and SC150RE 150 in the European and Asian markets.
