JAKARTA - Launched in mid-2023, Triumph Speed 400 immediately shocked the automotive market in India thanks to a charming retro design and performance that could attract consumer attention.

Triumph Speed 400 is one of the classic style models from collaboration with the Indian motorcycle vehicle company Bajaj. Motorcycles that have affordable prices are now priced up starting in early 2024.

It is known that at the time of its launch last July, the Triumph Motorcycle in India, recorded the first 10,000 orders, namely the Triumph Speed 400 and badminton 400 X.

Reporting from Autocar India, Tuesday, December 19, the latest news from Triumph Speed 400, which was previously given an introductory price of 223,000 rupees (equivalent to Rp40 million), is now announced that the price tag will be extended until December 31, 2023, and will increase to 233,000 rupees (Rp42 million) starting January 1, 2024.

The Triumph Speed 400 is equipped with advanced features such as ride by wire, regulated traction control, and an ABS braking system with two channels. The iron horse is also equipped with a front suspension of 140 mm and a back of 130 mm.

The classic motor is equipped with a 398 cc capacity engine with a liquid-cooled single cylinder that produces up to 40 dk of power and 37.5 Nm of torque. The machine is combined with a transmission of 6 accelerations equipped with a slip-and-assist coupling.

Speed 400 marks a significant milestone, with the company's expansion to more than 50 showrooms in more than 40 cities. With the planned expansion of the dealers, Triumph aims to reach 80 cities by April 2024, serving the dynamic community with more than 20,000 satisfied customers, the company said.
