JAKARTA - Electric two-wheeled vehicles are experiencing rapid growth, providing practical mobility solutions in urban areas without producing emission gas.

Kymco, a Taiwanese company, contributed by introducing a new electric scooter called i-Tuber at the 2023 EICMA event.

As Rideapart reported, Tuesday, November 14, i-Tuber comes with a compact and futuristic design, offering users comfort and practicality. Kymco carries three main design approaches, namely Comfort, Performance, and Utility. This model is equipped with an ergonomically designed saddle to increase the convenience of motorists.

The scooter also has a high ground clearance, with an open pipe frame at the bottom, ensuring the ability to pass through various types of roads, including the potholes. Kymco uses a bright LED light to ensure optimal lighting during the night journey.

In terms of performance, this electric motor is equipped with a rear hub powered by 4,000 watts, capable of reaching speeds of up to 70 km/hour. The battery uses Ionex technology, providing a range of up to 130 km in one charge.

Kymco will also offer an i-Tuber Carry variant specifically designed for business activities. The model is equipped with a fairly large front trunk rack and rear trunk rack compatible with various accessories. However, Kymco plans to provide additional i-Tuber accessories to improve the utility and practicality of using these vehicles.
