Benelli Launches Giant Sportbike Motorcycle, Present In Three Variants

JAKARTA - Benelli officially launched the sports bike Tornado in three variants, namely 300cc, 400cc, and 500cc, with very aggressive designs.

Reporting from the Rideapart page, Tuesday, November 14, these three motorcycle variants display different designs but remain compact and strong. The following is a short review of the three Tornado variants.

Tornado 300

Tornado 300 comes with a 300 cc parallel twin machine capable of generating 35 hp and 27 Nm torque. This force is channeled to the rear wheels via a manual gearbox of six standard accelerations.

In detail, this motor is equipped with a 17-inch wheel and a double Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) braking system to maintain stability while crossing various types of road terrain.

Tornado 400

Going further, Tornado 400 is included in the category of motor sports entry level with a 399cc capacity engine, liquid cooling, injection system, and twin parallel machines similar to the 300 model. This machine is capable of generating almost as much power and torque as Ninja 400, namely 47.6 hp and 38 Nm.

The Tornado 400 feature includes a full-colored 5-inch TFT screen and Bluetooth connectivity, and is equipped with a built-in tire pressure monitoring system.

Tornado 500

This motorbike shares the same platform as Tornado Naked Twin 500, featuring an aggressive design along with its smaller brother variant. In terms of performance, Tornado 500 is equipped with 500cc engines, liquid cooling, fuel injection, and parallel twin machines that generate 47.6 hp of power, the same as a 400cc model, but with a larger torque, which is 46 Nm. This model also has a 165 liter fuel tank.

Interestingly, the height of the seat can be adjusted to serve riders of various sizes. In addition, this sport motorcycle is equipped with a colorful TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity.

Well, although Benelli launched these three models simultaneously at EUMMA 2023, that doesn't mean everything will be sold in the same market. Chances are, these models will be distributed to various markets according to Benelli's considerations regarding the wishes and needs of enthusiasts in each region.
