Welcoming MotoGP Malaysia, Honda Presents The 2024 Repsol Edition Duck Motorcycle

JAKARTA - The MotoGP racing event in Malaysia will start in two weeks. In order to welcome the grand event, Honda launched a motorcycle duck RS-X Repsol Edition 2024.

Seeing the appearance, at first glance this motorbike reminds Supra GTR Repsol Edition which is sold in Indonesia. This motorbike takes the basis of Honda RS-X which is the leading manufacturer in the motorcycle duck segment.

This model appears like a racing motorbike used by Marc Marquez and Joan Mir from Repsol Honda Team competing in MotoGP with a touch of 'Honda Tricolor' consisting of orange, white, and red colors that have become the hallmarks of manufacturers.

Despite getting changes to the color pattern and touch of racing, the bike carries some of the same technology as in its standard version.

Launching Paultan, Friday, October 27, this motorbike has a single cylindrical engine with a liquid-cooled capacity of 149.1 cc equipped with a PGM-Fi system along with six acceleration transmissions.

With this heart runway, the power generated at RS-X was 15.8 dk at 9,000 rpm with a torque of 13.6 Nm at 7,000 Nm. The ABS front wheel became standard in RS-X, with braking using a single piston timesper on the 17-inch front wheel and rear wheels with 90/80 front tires and 120/70 rear.

This motorbike is specially presented as many as 5,000 units at the Malaysian market. Boon Siew Honda Malaysia, as a Honda motorcycle distributor in neighboring countries, will present this motorbike on the dealers network starting tomorrow, Saturday, October 28.

The Honda RS-X Repsol Edition 2024 is priced at 9,998 ringgit or equivalent to Rp33.2 million, not including road tax and insurance.
