Honda Introduces The Latest Motocompact Scooter For The United States Market

JAKARTA - As previously reported by VOI about its latest electric scooter product, Honda officially introduced the latest version of the motocompact scooter product named Honda Motocompactto e-Scooter in the United States in early October.

The model offers practicality in terms of vehicle mobility with a sleek, ultra-compact design that allows it to be folded and produce low emissions.

"Motocompact is one of Honda's uniqueness in our electrification strategy, which aims to support carbon neutrality by helping customers to move without overall emissions," said Jane Nakagawa, Vice President of the R&D Business Unit American, in an official statement received by VOI, Wednesday, October 4.

Meanwhile, Nick Ziraldo, Project Lead and Design Engineering Unit Leader at the Honda Development and Manufacturing of America, said that this model is very easy to use and is also designed by considering safety, durability and security.

"This vehicle uses aluminum frames and wheels that have experienced strong heat treatment, and is equipped with bright LED headlights and back, as well as side reflectors," he added.

Specifications

This motorbike provides comfort with a comfortable seat, footrest, and can be folded when not used. There are also digital speedometers, charging gauges, and comfortable gossip handles.

The comfort in the use of Motocompacto e-Scooter is supported by its compact dimension, 38.1 inches long, 35 inches high, 17.2 inches wide, 24.5 inches high seating, and 41.3 pounds heavy. However, when this vehicle is folded, its dimension becomes 29.2 inches long, 21.1 inches high, and 3.7 inches wide.

In addition to compact dimensions, this electric scooter has a battery power capacity of 6.8Ah and can be filled in 3.5 hours using 110 v power. The maximum speed of this scooter is 24 km per hour, with a maximum distance that can be reached as far as 19 km.
