JAKARTA - Geely's model, the Xingyuan EV, has reached a new delivery milestone with 500,000 units, marking a significant achievement for the best-selling model in China.

From data shared by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), from January to November, Xingyuan EV recorded retail sales of 429,628 units in China, the highest among all models.
In November alone, Xingyuan EV achieved retail sales of 44,239 units, marking the sixth consecutive month surpassing the 40,000 unit mark.
Xingyuan was originally launched on October 9, 2024, with an initial price of 69,800 yuan or around Rp166 million at that time and competes with the Seagull and Dolphin models from BYD.
On October 10 this year, Geely launched the Xingyuan EV 2026 at a cheaper price of 65,800 yuan or Rp156 million. A pretty attractive price to bring the car to the garage at home.
In terms of specifications, the Xingyuan 2026 has a length of 4,135 mm, a width of 1,805 mm, and a height of 1,570 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. The car is equipped with a single motor mounted in the rear, producing 58 kW of power.
The car comes standard with an LFP battery from CATL that offers a capacity of 30.12 kWh or 40.16 kWh, providing a range of 310 km or 410 km.
