Audi Launches A3 Sportback Urban Style Edition In Japan For IDR 500 Million

JAKARTA Audi Japan today officially released a limited edition of its premium compact model, A3 Sportback, under the name "urban style edition".

The model is designed to combine Audi's distinctive sporty and elegant styles with advanced digital technology, but remains in concise body dimensions. The A3 Sportback urban style edition is based on the A3 Sportback 30 TFSI Advanced model and is only available in 500 units across Japan, divided into three paid metallic color choices, namely 200 units for Glacier White Metallic, and 150 units for Mythos Black Metallic and Manhattan Gray Metallic, respectively.

Launching local media Carwatch, Tuesday, December 9, in terms of performance, this limited edition model is equipped with a turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.5 liters which is capable of producing a maximum power of 116 PS and a maximum torque of 220 Nm, combined with efficient 7-speed Stronic transmission.

The vehicle also adopts a mid hybrid system with Belt Alternative Starter (BAS) and 48V lithium-ion batteries, promising a more efficient and convenient driving experience as this system allows engines to shut down completely while driving slowly.

This special edition comes at an attractive price of 4,990,000 yen or equivalent to Rp534 million.

Although it has a strategic claimed price, the A3 Sportback urban style edition comes in standards with various premium features, including the Jok Sport wrapped in the Routine Cloth, as well as two important packages, namely the Kenyaman & Assistance Package which includes an electric front seat, Advanced Key System, front seat heater, Park Assist Plus, surround-view camera, Audi Hold Assist, adaptive crude assist/emergency assist, high beam assist, and three-zone automatic air conditioning and Navigation Plans including MMI navigation system, virtual cockpit plus, and Audi sound system.

As a limited edition of special equipment, this car is also equipped with an LED Matrix headlights featuring digital daytime running lights with four selected patterns, as well as 17-inch aluminum rims, a W-5-finger design that adds to the stylish impression.
