Minivan Geely Galaxy V900 Breaks World Record Can Hold 42 People

JAKARTA - Geely Galaxy V900 listed its name on the Guinness World Record world record. The minivan managed to contain the highest number of passengers in the multipurpose vehicle category.

In the trial, this Extreme Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) minivan accommodates up to 42 people in its cabin. As reported by Carnewschina, Friday, November 28, this car has an interior area of 8.41 square meters.

The distance between the chairs is more than one meter, while the level of utilization of the cabin space reaches 91.8 percent. In the record-breaking test, this car was filled with 42 women with an average height of around 170 cm.

The record-breaking moment was also recorded and shared by Geely Galaxy ahead of the start of the sale of V900 to the public. Geely Galaxy V900 itself is an EREV version of the L380 LEVC which was first introduced as a pure electricity MPV.

The application for a sales license in China was submitted on September 10, 2025. Geely Galaxy's representative said the Guinness record occurred shortly after its V900 global debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2025 on November 21, 2025.

In terms of size, the Geely Galaxy V900 has a dimension of a bong, namely a length of 5,360 mm, a width of 1,998 mm, and a height of 1,940 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,200 mm. The design features a short nose and a flat roof that confirms the orientation of the spacious cabin space.

This model is offered in two interior options, namely a three-line configuration for six passengers and a four-line for eight passengers. As for baggage, the six-passenger version provides a loading space depth of up to 919 mm.

While the eight-passenger version has a compacter trunk with a depth of 347 mm, the fourth row seat can be folded evenly thanks to a custom-made floor design. Geely Galaxy V900 is available with 18-inch or 20-inch wheels, as well as an electric siderest option to facilitate access.

In the kitchen runway sector, this MPV relies on a 1.5 liter turbocharged gasoline generator that produces a peak power of 120 kW (161 hp). The power works with two NMC terner battery options with a capacity of 43.3 kWh and 50 kWh.

In full electric mode, the Geely Galaxy V900 distance is in the range of 165 km to 202 km based on CLTC standards. When the battery runs out, the gasoline consumption is at 77.2 liters per 100 km. Unfortunately, Geely has not disclosed the details of the specifications of the electric motor used, including the official banderol for the Galaxy V900.
