Launching Next Year, This Is A Leak In The Price Of A Chery X Concept

PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) introduced a manly concept vehicle called Chery X at the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) event, this car itself is expected to officially launch next year.

The concept car, known as T1TP in its home country, will later be positioned on top of the Tiggo 8 model that has been sold in Indonesia, this was revealed by the Head of Brand & Marketing Department of PT Chery Sales Indonesia, Rifkie Setiawan.

"For that position above Tiggo 8," he said, when met on the sidelines of the launch, at ICE BSD, Monday, November 24.

Referring to Chery's official website, Tiggo 8 is priced the cheapest at Rp439 million, and the most expensive or Tiggo 8 CSH AWD touched the figure of Rp559 million. So what is the price range for the model above?

"If the price range is IDR 800 million, if the launch is possible next year," he added.

Chery is still closing the door of the meeting regarding specifications, but this model is built on a CSH basis or known as the Chery Super Hybrid. Later, if the powertrain is launched, it will most likely be PHEV.

"For now, seeing a story, it's the most in demand for CSH or the PHEV version," he explained.

Chery X was born of a tiger inspiration that symbolizes true strength and resilience through the embedding of a firm Tiger's Rour Front Face, combined with Tiger's Stance with three rope marks that give a strong impression.

Carrying the idea as an "Ultimate Space Family Multi-SUV", Chery X comes from the user co-creation' initiative, designed to break conventional design limitations by offering space flexibility and modular functions that can adapt according to the needs of their users.
