Chery Introduces SUV Fulwin T9L And A9 Electric Sedan

JAKARTA Chery officially introduced two of its new models at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2025. The two models are a five-passenger SUV called Fulwin T9L, and an electric sedan called Fulwin A9.

The T9L SUV has a length of about 4,870 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. The design uses the language Eastern calligraphy or some kind of eastern calligraphy style combined with the character of a modern SUV.

Chery said that T9L will use a plug-in hybrid architecture called Kunpeng C-DM, accompanied by advanced driver assistance features. The model uses a 6P Horizon Journey computing platform that supports various semi-autonomous driving functions.

Such as blind spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, and assistance features to maintain lanes. This system is designed to be able to read road conditions predictively and perform defensive maneuvers when potential risks are detected.

The interior of T9L is also displayed in the form of preproduction. The cabinet carries a minimalist concept with the dominance of large digital screens in the center of the dashboard.

As reported by Carnewschina, Monday, November 24, this model is planned to be launched on the Chinese market in the first quarter of 2026. Meanwhile, A9 is the first pure electric model (BEV) of the Fulwin brand.

This model appears with a fastback style that features a sloping back roof line, resembling a silhouette coupe. The door handle is made flat with the body to support aerodynamics and futuristic impressions.

The front of the A9 displays a sleek LED light and a closed bumper design typical of electric vehicles. On the roof there is a sensor module that indicates support for advanced driving assistance systems.

The design of aerodynamic rims is also aimed at optimizing efficiency when vehicles travel at high speeds. Reportedly, there will be a plug-in hybrid or extended-range variant, but the version shown as a pure BEV for now.

The price for the T9 series (non-L) was previously mentioned at around 159,900 yuan, while Chery has not announced the official price of A9. Chery said these two models are part of the company's medium-term strategy in building electrified vehicles with various technology options.
