JAKARTA - Great Wall Motor is preparing a new SUV called the Ora Cat and its design is revealed by the Chinese Ministry of China. At first glance, it is very interesting because it has a distinctive feature.

Based on a report from Carnewschina, quoted on Thursday, September 11, it is predicted that this car will also be sold abroad under the name Ora 05 following in the footsteps of several of its previous models.

In design, the Ora Cat is parallel to the Ora 03 in terms of exterior forces. It adopts a cute style with circular headlights, a closed front end with air intake in the form of a large trapium, a short bumper, a traditional door handle, and a single back light strip.

Other design highlights include a charging port at the front right fender, a roof rail, an optional LiDAR sensor that of course provides more experience for users.

In terms of dimensions, Ora Cat comes with a length of 4,471 mm, a width of 1,883 mm, a height of 1,641 mm with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm. The weight of the car sidewalk is 1,630 to 1,655 kg.

Ora Cat adopted one electric motor QT36TZ220001 from a subsidiary of GWM Hycet. Its peak reaches 150 kW (201 hp). This e-motor is powered by an LFP battery made by SVOLT. Its capacity has not been revealed. The highest speed of Cat Ora reaches 170 km/hour.

As is known, Ora is an electric car brand under Great Wall Motor, founded in 2018. Currently, it has expanded to various countries including Indonesia. For the Indonesian market, the brand has only presented Ora 03. This car offers a modern classic design and is present in one variant priced at IDR 379 million.
