The Latest PHEV 500 PHEV GWM Tanks Will Launch Soon, What Has Changed?

JAKARTA - The Chinese auto brand Great Wall Motors (GWM) will open pre-sales of its newest offroad plug in hybrid (PHEV) SUVs for 500 Hi4-T and Hi4-Z on 11 August.

Of course, it is highly anticipated for off-road SUV lovers, especially since this car itself comes with several improvements including the most important, namely the addition of Hedar Hesai ATX which is present on the roof, to support a sophisticated driving assistance system.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Thursday, August 7, the latest Tan 500 design still retains the design like the previous model, but there is a slight update. Like the front, the grip has been redesigned, featuring vertical chrome bars piled up with Tank brand logos from glass.

In addition, the rear logo above the number plate has also been replaced with a "GWM TANK", and the Chinese-written GWM logo has been added to the right of the external spare tire. There is a new color presented, namely Dunhuang Green along with the existing exterior paint Kunlun Gold, Pamir Silver, and Mount Everest White.

The interior is also designed for money where the control button under the central control screen has been redesigned and the floating control screen is equipped with a new system. The dance is that passengers can store food and drinks in a new refrigerator in the middle console which has a temperature range of -6$C to 50$C. Two 50W wireless charging pads are also available.

Both front and rear seats are equipped with ventilation, heating, and massage, while back seats offer 25-deg to 35-deg displacement angle settings. Back passengers can also watch from a new 17.3-inch 3K touchscreen that supports six control modes, including sound, gesture, touch, and remote control.

Two choices of powertrains will be available in this car, with the same specifications as the current model. The Hi4-T version is equipped with a 2.0T 185 kW (248 hp) engine and a 120 kW (161 hp) electric motor, combined with 9HAT, produces a total power of 300 kW (hp). The linear lithium battery packages of 36.7 kWh and 37.1 kWh provide pure WLTC electric range of 110 km.

The Hi4-Z version comes with the same 2.0T engine, but is equipped with two 610 hp electric motors and combined with DHT 3-acceleration. The 59.05 kWh lithium terner battery pack gives pure WLTC electric range as far as 201 km
