JAKARTA - At the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) exhibition which ended yesterday, August 3, there was one Wuling car model that attracted quite attention. Yes, it was the Wuling Cortez Darion.

Appearing for the first time in Indonesia, the latest Wuling product, which is present in the EV and PHEV choices, will be marketed in Indonesia and will also be produced at the Wuling factory in Cikarang, West Java.

Wuling prepares Cortez Darion in two variants. The first is the EV variant supported by a 150 kW electric motor with a distance of up to 540 km (CLTC), as well as CCS2 fast charging support which can charge from 30 to 80 percent in 30 minutes.

For the PHEV version, a 1,500 cc Dedicated Hybrid Engine combines a dedicated hybrid engine with a 145 kW electric motor and a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) transmission to provide smooth and responsive acceleration. In EV mode, this car is capable of traveling a distance of up to 125 km with a total combination distance of more than 1,000 km.
