BYD Shows Yangwang U8L At Auto Shanghai 2025, Covered In Gold 24 Karats!

SHANGHAI - The ultra luxury sub-brand from BYD, namely Yangwang, officially opened a large Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), namely U8L, at the 2025 Shanghai Auto event.

Quoting from the CNevpost page, Friday, April 25, Yangwang U8L is a longer version of its first model, and will officially launch in the second half of this year (2025).

In dimensions for U8L this has a length of 5,400 mm, a width of 2,049 mm, and a height of 1,921 mm, as well as a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. This dimension is larger than the usual U8, in comparison it has a length of 5,319 mm, a width of 2,050 mm, and a height of 1,930 mm, as well as a wheelbase of 3,050 mm.

U8L has the longest body dimension, the largest wheelbase, and the second largest row space of all major-current SUVs in its class. The precision of this model is confirmed by the use of three oracle gold badges made of 24 carat original gold, isn't it?

In terms of appearance, it is quite luxurious, there are three curves on the roof, as well as a striking grip on the front area. The gold and black nuances (dual tone) make this car look very attractive, especially combined with large rims.

Yangwang did not announce the U8L price, but said the price would be much more expensive than U8. For the U8 price itself, it is priced starting from 1,098,000 yuan or around Rp. 2.5 billion.
