Jeep Presents Limited Edition Wagoneer, Only Produced 2,000 Units

JAKARTA - Jeep is known as a manufacturer that presents tough offroad vehicles capable of passing through various terrains. Now the brand is presenting a new breakthrough at the New York Auto Show.

Quoting from the Carscoops page, Thursday, April 17, Jeep will present a Wagoneer Overland 2025 or limited edition which is only produced by 2,000 units. This particular edition is referred to as the toughest member of the Wagoneer family.

The car is claimed to have been designed for adventure and not just hyperbolic, because Overland is equipped with a number of improvements focused on off-road terrain.

In detail, this special edition is based on the Wagoneer Series II and is equipped with a Nappa leather seat, a three-zone automatic climate control system, and a triple panoramic rooftop. Buyers will also find a wireless smartphone charger and a 10.1-inch infotainment system.

The exterior also features some unique touches including the first black roof for Wagoneer, all of which are combined with black emblems and various other black accents. The model is also equipped with a tap rail cross, a Heavy Duty Trailer Tow package that includes trailer brake controllers and a towing capacity of up to 4,536 kg.

Various interesting features are also embedded, such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Blind-Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Path Detection. The company also provides 360-degree around-view camera systems and Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking.

The power comes from a Hurricane 3.0 liter twin-turbo inline-six engine which produces 420 hp and 634 Nm torque, the engine is connected to an automatic transmission of eight speeds and a four-wheel drive system mentioned earlier. For the price, priced at 72,740 US dollars or around Rp1.2 billion.
