BYD Atto 3 Facelift Launches In China, Equipped With ADAS God's Eye Technology

JAKARTA - BYD officially launched Atto 3 facelifts that received a myriad of updates, both in terms of exterior, interior to the application of the latest ADAS technology.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Thursday, March 6, the model, which is sold in its home country with the Yuan Plus name, comes with an exterior design that is renewed. Such as a larger trapze-shaped air entry channel, smoke headlights, blackened D pillars to new roof spoilers with double brake lights.

On the same dimension, BYD Atto 3 has a length dimension of 4,455 mm, a width of 1,875 mm, a height of 1,615 mm with a wheelbase of 2,729 mm. The new thing is the loss of the words Build Your Dreams on the back, and replaced with a BYD emblem.

From the interior side, BYD Atto 3 facelifts adopt two colors, namely cream and gray. Other updates include transmission knobs that are now behind the wheel, which of course make it easier for users.

Meanwhile, the new thing about this one model is compartments, 50 W wireless chargers, new instrument clusters measuring 8.8 inches, 12-inch head up display, and cameras mounted on pillar A to help the driver. Interestingly, this model is also equipped with a small refrigerator.

Regarding technology, BYD embeds the God's Eye C system or known as DiPilot 100 which is equipped with automatic driving features on the highway, automatic lane changes, obstacle avoidance, and route memory functions that allow the system to learn frequently used routes. Automatic multiplet parking is also installed, along with regular features such as automatic emergency braking and blind spot monitoring.

Mechanically, Atto 3 remains unchanged, powered by a single forward motor that produces 204 PS (150 kW) and a 310 Nm torque. Buyers still get a choice of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) Blade 49.92 kWh or 60.48 kWh batteries, which yields a distance of 430 km and 510 km respectively on CLTC cycles.

Speaking of price, Atto 3 is the latest to come in five variants with prices ranging from 115,800-145,800 yuan or around Rp260-328 million.

Will this latest version also be present in Indonesia? Given that the previous model has been listed on the country which is priced at IDR 470 million.
