MG ZS EV Model Successor To Debut In British Market This Spring, Here Are The Specifications

JAKARTA - Morris Garage, also known as MG, confirmed that he would update the lineup of electric vehicles for the British market by presenting the S5 EV as a replacement for the ZS EV.

Reported by Autocar, Wednesday, March 5, the car will arrive in King Charles' country this spring (between March and June) with complete specifications that have not been disclosed.

It continues the move of the brand in introducing this model in various markets, after it was introduced in the Chinese market under the name ES5.

The MG S5 EV was built on the same platform as the MG4 EV, namely MSP. This one car is designed longer than the brother of his hatchback, which is 4,480 mm long and 1,850 mm wide.

As an illustration, the manufacturer sold the model at a price of around 100,000 yuan or the equivalent of Rp. 225.6 million. Speaking of design, the car minimizes the use of the front goal by adopting sharp lights and insertions as well as showing an elegant, dynamic, and futuristic impression.

Other design elements include conventional door handles, blacked outer rear mirrors, silver roof trunk racks, and Y-shaped through-type lights. Complementing its appearance, this compact SUV has two rim options, namely 17 inches and 18 inches.

It adopts designs like other MG models with a minimal, smooth, and comfortable display. The cockpit adopts a screen layout in the center that is separated from the instrument panel and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.

The central console adopts a hollow design to provide additional storage space at the bottom, equipped with two cup holders, and supports wireless charging for the phone.

The SUV has a level 2+ ADAS MG Pilot system supported by the Journey 3 Horizon Robotics chip. The Front View Camera Module (FVCM) feature has a visibility of up to 250 meters and a rear radar detection of 180 meters.

This includes various other functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Parking Assistance.

MG gave him a rear electric motorbike with a power of up to 168 hp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. The manufacturer gave him a 49.1 kWh battery option and 62.2 kWh which gave him a distance of 425 km to 525 km according to the CLTC cycle.
