JAKARTA - Recently, Audi has introduced the latest A6 Avant model featuring a more dynamic design with a modern touch for urban mobility in the European market.

The pickup-shaped model comes with several elements ranging from the exterior to more sports than the standard version, the presence of adaptive air suspension, enhanced driving comfort, to increasing performance from gasoline and diesel engines armed with mild-hybrid technology.

The new A6 Audi combines elegant and dynamic designs with extraordinary aerodynamics. An efficient but high-performance driving system as well as cutting-edge suspension technology combines the impression of sporty with a high level of comfort, making traveling with A6 class one experience, "said Audi CEO Gernot Dollner on the brand's official website, Wednesday, March 5.

The latest A6 Avant presents a sporty characterization, but still prioritizes functionality. This is reflected in the design and aerodynamics offering drag coefficients of up to 0.25.

The front has water-intake that can be controlled and the presence of striking roof spoilers and a number of aerodynamic panels on the back window, contributing to the aerodynamics for this one car.

The back display comes more strikingly with a diffuser that reflects the character of Audi's Avant. Then, the wheelbase and engine hood are designed longer so as to realize the turmoil of the A6 Avant.

The interior comes with first-class quality with the presence of a panoramic glass roof, then a light-rich interior, a premium sound system from Bang & Olufsen, to a four-zone automatic climate control package as optional.

The sporty character is also highlighted by an adaptive water suspension feature, which regulates the height of the car with asphalt surface and absorption of shocks.

According to Audi, the characteristics of the steering on the latest A6 Avant are now more responsive than ever before with all aspects redesigned so that they become stiffer from steering wheel to wheel.

Camber on the front doubles also increased, resulting in a better driving response overall.

Audi A6 Avant is now armed with a 2.0 TDI 4-cylinder engine with a power of up to 150 kW and 6-cylinder 3.0 TDI powered by 270 kW. These two options are combined with environmentally friendly mid-hybrid electrification technology.

The mid-hybrid system consists of three main components, namely a 48V battery, a Belt Alternative Starter (BAS), and a Powertrain Generator (PTG) with integrated power electronics.

PTG can contribute to adding torques of up to 230 Nm and up to 18 kW of power when stepped on the gas pedal or when overtaking. When the vehicle slows down, this system can restore energy to 25 kW.

The four-ring logo manufacturer will open an A6 Avant order in March at prices ranging from 58,000 euros (Rp1,010 billion) for TFSI type as entry-level and 61,700 euros (Rp1,075 billion) for 2.0 TDI with mild-hybrid technology.
