Appearing For The First Time At IIMS, Jaecool J5 EV Is Confirmed To Be Launching This Year

JAKARTA - Jaecoo introduced a pure electric car at IIMS 2025. The latest model in question is J5 EV which appears for the first time globally.

J5 EV is still introduced and only an exterior design, but it is certain that the electric car will launch in 2025. This was revealed by Jaecool Indonesia's Head of Marketing, Evan Anganantika.

"We will confirm the launch this year," he said, when met in Bali, Tuesday, February 25.

Unfortunately, he did not describe in more detail the specifications of the Jaecool J5 EV electric car. Both in terms of interior design, and distance.

On the same occasion, Jaecool Indonesia's Head of Product, Ryan Ferdian Tirto, also revealed the certainty of the launch of the model (Jaecoo J5 EV).

When asked about Jaecoo J5 EV's interior design, he said it would have some differences with the ICE version in China.

"Just like Jaecool J7, there are different ICE and SHS variants, and this is also a little different," said Ryan.

Ryan also ensures that he will receive input from customers regarding the model, this ensures that the products launched will be in accordance with the wishes of automotive lovers.

Of course, it is worth waiting for the presence of Jaecool J5 EV in Indonesia, especially now that the pure electric car segment is growing in the country.
